APPROVAL OF EXPULSION CASE NO. 10-322
Description
The student listed in Case No. 10-322 is in violation of an accepted Settlement Agreement for alternative school placement. On February 23, 2010, the student listed in Expulsion Case No. 10-322 violated School Board Policy 5.322 Prohibition Against Use, Sale, or Possession. It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the student be expelled from the Sarasota County Schools until June 15, 2011.
Recommendation
That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07(1)(a)(b), Florida Statutes and School Board Policy 5.34 the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case No. 10-322, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools be approved effective immediately for the remainder of the 2009-2010 academic year, the 2010, summer session and the entire 2010-2011 academic year.
